Chinese Women in Computing (CWiC) is affiliated with the Anita Borg Institute’s Systers community groups to inspire, motivate and move women in technology. Chinese women in the computing roles have our unique challenges and advantages given our cultural background and life experiences, we are here to support one another through professional development and career decisions.  Every year, we host events and meetups at the annual Grace Hopper Conference in the US.  We also organize digital and physical meetups to share our knowledge and experiences in a safe environment. 

Chinese Women in Computing is a IRS registered 501(C)(3) federal tax exempted nonprofit organization. 

 

Mission

  • Celebrate and recognize Chinese Women achievements in Computing at all levels.
  • Enhance CWiC members professional skills in leadership and communication via sharing and mentoring.
  • Build a global community to provide networking opportunities and establish the 1st GHC-like presence in China to advocate for the Chinese Women in Computing.
